Description

To support multi-channel high fidelity measurements BRRC provides hardware and software integration using National Instruments PXI platform and Labview. A portable system capable of simultaneously collecting 80 channels of data from voltage sensors (i.e. microphones, accelerometers, geophones, weather sensors, etc.) has been developed. The system is able to be operated from up to 1000 ft away using a laptop in conjunction with either a wired or wireless connection. The data can be collected at sampling rates up to 200k samples\sec at 24 bits resolution. The AC/DC coupling is selectable for each channel. In addition ICP power is available to power sensors directly for the data acquisition system.

Applications

The system has been used for a multitude of applications from large scale source characterization, beamforming of moving vehicles, and laboratory experiments.
